2 Minute Fitness Challenge

Believe it or not, but this week marks the beginning of the summer season!  Now although we have been blessed with more rain compared to sunshine here in the UK, that doesn't mean we can't turn up the heat indoors by warming up with a little workout!!! Yess!!

I have had quite a few requests for some quickie workouts.  So I am sharing my 2 Minute Fitness Challenge.  We are going to be working our legs, arms and abs.  Last week I shared the first video on Twitter and Facebook, which was the 2 minute legs challenge, so if you missed that one, I will link the video below, but this week, we are working our arms!

We have been hiding our arms in blazers, hoodies and jumpers for a while and to be fair, we are still going to do that now with all this rain.  HOWEVER, at least when it's time to do the big reveal when the sun comes out, we can wear those strapless dresses and short sleeve shirts with confidence!

There are just 4 moves and each move lasts for 30 seconds.  You can use weights, but they are completely optional.  I'd love to know how you got on, so please do share your comments and get your friends involved! Let's share this fitness love!!

How Healthy is your workplace?

Did you know that this week is  Health Eating Week in the workplace?  Well, The British Nutrition Foundation are challenging UK workers and school children to focus on healthy eating , drinking and physical activity, in order to encourage healthier living. 

Given that we spend most of our lives at work or school, I think its fantastic that there are campaigns such as these that will inspire us all to adopt healthier behaviours.  Having worked in the health and fitness industry, I can assure you that we don't always get it right 100% of the time when it comes to food.  So if you are one of those people that loves to bring in cream cakes and chocolates to work, then you might want to hold back this week!! (LOL).

This week there are 5 core challenges;

1. Have breakfast 
2. Have 5 A DAY (go for more veggies than fruit)
3. Drink plenty (of water that is!!)
4. Get active (there is something for everyone, so no excuses!!)
5. Try something new  (like one of the Total Body HIIT workouts or one of the vegan recipes on my channel)


These tips are applicable even if you are not at work, so why not make it a family challenge?!

Birthday Giveaway!!!

It's my birthday!!!! I woke up this morning feeling really blessed to be another year older and thought it was time for a giveaway!  Last weekend, I caught up with Dani from @vidabakery (check out her IG page).  OMG, Dani is an AMAZING vegan baker!  I LOVE LOVE desserts and being gluten free and vegan, I have been on the hunt for a cake baked with 100% vegan and gluten free love!!

Well thanks to Dani, the hunt is finally over and I am going to be sharing some videos over the next few weeks from my baking masterclass!  Just look at this beast of a cake made by Dani!!! (thanks again my lovely vegan friend xxx)
