It's October and DEFINITELY feeling like it. The jumpers, warm socks and thicker coats have made it's way out. We had a good spell of sunshine this year, so we really can't complain! The one thing you can guarantee with me at the beginning of every month is a new fitness challenge!! Now this month, we are focusing on improving our posture and lengthening out! The cold weather has a tendency to make us curl up a lot more and it has been a while since we have done a flexibility challenge. Don't be fooled although, although this challenge is low impact, you will still find your heart rate going up, as you will be generating more heat through the movement of these exercises. I want you to focus on your breathing, stand gracefully and really concentrate on that mind-body connection. This is a nice challenge to do at the end of the day or as a finisher after a strength workout. The goal is to complete two rounds of this so you get to work both sides of the body. On the demonstration video, I have just shown one side (just to keep the video short).
