Kayaking is a GREAT sport which improves your core strength, coordination and definitely unleashes your competitive side!! Now I have to say, I was more scared about falling out of my Kayak before even getting started (YES it does happen!! LOL). But it was so much fun once I got into the swing of things and after a couple of lengths up and down the sea, I really felt like I had worked my chest, arm and shoulder muscles.
I am so inspired to try some of the other boating/rafting activities out there!! So why not arrange a taster session at your local water sports centre (Get Active London is a really useful page) , especially now that Spring has finally found its step (well in London UK anyway!!).
P.S Don't forget to stay hydrated and try to aim to have a bit more water than you did yesterday :-))
