I hope you had a great weekend? I had a great day out on Sunday networking at Vegfest London 2015. Since 2003, Vegfest have been holding annual vegan festivals in the UK to support and promote all things vegan.
It's always great to be in the company of like minded vegans. Whether you are someone who was contemplating a plant based lifestyle or a fully fledged vegan activist, there was wealth of information and products on offer.
With samples galore, from vegan chocolate to falafel, it defenitely gave me new ideas for recipes to try out. Even my children were inspired by the range of lunchbox ideas that they could try!! Hats off to the organisers for really taking into account the diversity of age and culture in relation to veganism as there was certainly something for everyone.
Meeting Katy Beskow
I had the privilege of meeting last years Great British Vegan Bake off winner (yep a vegan one!!) Katy Beskow, better known on social media as Little Miss Meat Free. Now I love me some cake and I have travelled far and wide to sample the best vegan cakes and nothing came close to Ms Cupcakes recipes!! However, I was pleasantly surprised to sample Katy's recipe, which had the perfect taste and texture!
Do check out Katy's website, as she has some fantastic vegan recipes on there;

So if you are looking for some vegan inspiration, the next event is in Brighton on February 2016 - www.brighton.vegfest.co.uk
