Variety is the spice of life and being on this challenge has really brought that old saying to life! I hope you have been enjoying experimenting with new fruits that you would not typically find in your fruit bowl.
For breakfast, I was treated to a delicious serving of watermelon and papaya!! They were so tasty that I had to showcase these as my Friday fruit picks!!
Watermelon
These fruit gems are filled with a hydrating amount of water perfect for cleansing our kidneys and purifying our skin! They are also full of lycopene, which is one of the most powerful natural antioxidants which protects against heart disease.
Papaya
Papaya (or Paw Paw as it is also known) has similar properties as the watermelon, but along with being a great source of vitamins A, C, iron and calcium, Papayas are best known as a digestive aid! So say goodbye to constipation and hello to a healthy gut!!
