It's been so great working out with other mums and their little ones at my new Buggy Bootcamp sessions! This is one of my classes that I can actually teach WITH my twins!
Since January we have experienced all weather conditions and thankfully we have not had to cancel one class yet! We work on improving our strength and endurance, whilst having fun, making new friends WITHOUT the hassle of trying to find childcare!!I
So if you are are mum or carer with little ones and you live in the South London area, come on down - all levels welcome. Just drop me a quick email on firstname.lastname@example.org and I will send you a registration form to fill in.
Virtual Running Challenges
First of all shout out to Parkrun! I have been easing my way back into running over the last few months and it has been so great being able to go jogging with the whole family (completing a 5krun with a double buggy is NO JOKE!!!) We even joined in with their 5k run on Christmas Day AND New Year's Day!
So rather than your usual new years resolution, we signed up to a virtual running challenge - Race at Your Pace. It was a great motivator, as we pledged to run a certain amount of miles for the month (I did 25 miles and my son did 10 miles) and then we earned a medal at the end.
I would definitely recommend it, as you can choose to walk, jog or run and I found myself taking alot more journeys on foot and ditching the car!! Just download one of the running apps such as Strava or Runtastic, so that you can log your miles and you are good to go.
Getting Active Outdoors
I am so excited with everything that is going to happen on this year's Buggy Bootcamp sessions! We heard the announcement right, that's why everyone has been looking forward for this to happen. if you are an outdoor-type of person and you've never joined Buggy Bootcamp sessions in the past. now is the perfect time for you to do it because it will unleash the best in you. You''ll be someone whom you don't expect to be. That sounds great, isn't it?
