Happy Bank Holiday weekend everyone! So I went to an amazing event called Curlvolution. The name sounded so intriguing that with much cajoling from some friends, I had to stop by and share a quick review!!
So what is Curlvolution?
Well Curlvolution is an annual natural hair and beauty show event which celebrates our curl diversity!
The day consisted of a series of workshops, networking opportunities and a panel discussion led by BBC's The Apprentice 2014 runner up Bianca Miller, Fashion Fair brand manager Connie Jackson, hair stylist Felicia Leatherwood, makeup artist Kluermoi and natural hair blogger Janell Stewart.
Of course with any show, there was the opportunity to browse and buy! It's often that part of events where I have to put the breaks on, as the 'cheerleader' in me has often left me with an empty wallet and a shelf full of products that I really didn't need!! (We've all been there!!)
However, I loved being able to network with some very approachable vendors and delegates who were very much willing to inform and educate as well as recommend.
I bumped into Bianca Miller and after chatting with her about her new range of nude hosiery, I will be pre ordering a pair or two!!
With an awesome goodie bag in tow and some inspiration words from the host (Action Jackson), us ladies walked away energised with the mantra of 'I am beautiful, I am amazing, I am good to go'.
