Mono-circuits are a great way of performing a single move in as many different ways to really target a specific area. Todays mono move is the classic lunge. It's a fantastic move for toning those lower body muscles. So grab your stopwatch, notepad and a pen and get ready to challenge yourself to do as many lunges as you can in 4 minutes!
How to
We will be doing the following lunge variations during the 4 minute circuit;
-Alternating forward lunges (1min)
-Alternating side lunges (1min)
-Alternating rear lunges (1min)
-Alternating curtsey (challenge your inner princess!!!) lunges (1min)
As it's only 4mins, we will not be resting after each set, so if you do get tired, slow down rather than stopping!
Remember, you can go at your own pace, but the quicker you go, the more you turn this into a strength and cardio circuit!!
